Information We Collect

Photos You Upload

When you use our Service, you may upload a personal photograph. This photo is transmitted directly to Google's Gemini API solely to generate an AI-styled artwork. We do not store, save, or retain your uploaded photos on our servers. The photo is processed in real time and discarded after the artwork is generated.

Important: You are solely responsible for the content of any photo you upload. We have no ability to pre-screen, monitor, or review uploaded photos before they are processed. By uploading a photo, you represent that you have the legal right to do so and that the content complies with our Terms of Service.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information about how you interact with our website, including:

• IP address and general location (country/region)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent on the site
• Referring URLs and clickstream data
• Device type and operating system
• Session metadata (timestamps, anonymized session identifiers)

Session Recordings

We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized user sessions, including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior. Clarity does not capture the content of photos you upload. This data helps us understand how users interact with the site and improve the experience.

Third-Party Services We Use

Google Gemini API
Your uploaded photo is sent to Google's Gemini API for AI image processing. We use a paid API plan. Under Google's paid terms, Google does not use submitted content to train its AI models. Processing is subject to Google's Gemini API Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized data about website traffic and user behavior. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram)
We use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising effectiveness and enable retargeting on Facebook and Instagram. The Pixel collects data about your actions on our website and may associate this with your Facebook profile. You can manage preferences at Facebook Ad Preferences.

Microsoft Clarity
Used for anonymized session recording (clicks, scrolls, navigation). Does not capture uploaded photo content. Learn more at Microsoft Clarity Privacy.

Supabase
We use Supabase for backend infrastructure. Session metadata (timestamps, anonymized session identifiers) may be stored in Supabase to support Service functionality. Uploaded photos are not stored.

How We Use Your Information

• To analyze website usage and improve user experience
• To measure and optimize advertising campaigns
• To detect and prevent fraud or technical issues

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed above (Google, Meta, Microsoft) solely to operate the Service.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is strictly intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used our Service, please contact us immediately at privacy@lart.art.

Data Retention

Uploaded photos are not retained. Analytics and session data is retained per each provider's own policies. Session metadata in Supabase is retained only as long as necessary to operate the Service.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of tracking and analytics. Contact us at privacy@lart.art to exercise these rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
